Hi, glad to have finally found a dedicated Mercury site. I have a 1996 Mercury Sable LS and love the car. It's that weird purple/metallic brown/metallic grey color (depending on the light, angle of view and filter effect of sunglasses and camera lenses. It's weird and wonderful at the same time, and never ceases to produce commentary on the street. With the 24V Duratec and full load of accessories (save the in consol cellphone), it's a fast, comfortable and very unique ride in a world full of clones! Fast and funky, a great combination! Glad to be here, hope to find some like minded friends, Peace!
