Hello, I'm Chris, a proud Jeep owner and DIY car repair enthusiast. Over the last four years I've been getting accustomed to my wife's 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. Like Jeep, I've learned that Ford has reused drivetrains and engines for a variety of years and makes, with slight variations. This weekend I found a few videos of replacing the coolant intake manifold on a 2003 Crown Vic and a 1999 Grand Marquis and felt pretty confident in getting it done because I have replaced intake manifold on two other vehicles in the past. I'm going to post a thread with some pictures. I could really use some reassurance on some questions I have, and would really appreciate our help!
