I just picked up an 88 grand marquis for 300 bucks.

Here's what I'm workin with:



Not much leakage at all. Everything is running fine. The drivers side window doesnt roll down...

I have replaced the battery, drivers side cat y pipe muffler and tailpipe, u joint...i think thats it.

I just need to get some plates on her and roll!

My brother is the brains of the operation, I'm just the owner. He manages a Firestone, so I have the hookup, but I don't want to put him to work on his days off, so here I am, joined up in this knowledge pool.

welcome. Nice find. Sounds like a good fixerupper. Definitely looks solid from the pic there (sans the missing grill). the search tool will be your best friend. always search threads "from beginning" to get good results.

 

the car looks nice but its bare... throw some rims on it and some tint and then youll be riding on stlye...
