Hi...New member here. Recently inherited a 2008 Mercury Milan Premier I4 from mother in law. Was planning to sell it, but it's too nice to do that, and it's way nicer car than it's value. It's been garaged kept since new, so red paint is terrific, interior looks new, has 36,000 miles....mostly highway driven by my wife taking her Mom on trips, drives nice (even though not very powerful), and all service work is up to date. So have decided to drive it....even though we don't really need it. Happy to join your group. May have some questions for some of you. Only one I can think of now is have noticed the access cover to the oil filter is missing. Is that necessary to be on there?
