I acquired a '64 4door Marauder about a year ago when my father-n-law past on. The car is completely original. He owned it about 30 years, but because of health reasons the car was mostly ignored for the past 25 years. The good news is it was kept in a dry building all this time. The bad news it was ignored except for the occasional time that I started it. So now it has a lot of little issues to work on. As time allows I have been cleaning and fixing things. I finally had it road worthy and took it to a small local car show. Very cool. The next morning I started it and heard a metalic "clang:". Not good. Back into the shop and I found a bent push rod and water in the oil. Really not good. So instead of just looking at the forum I figured I better join and get some of your advice. I will be posting questions and pictures on the Marauder section of the forum. Happy to finally join.
