hi
i am montego kid. i recently inherited my grandmothers 2005 Mercury Montego Primer AWD with heated leather, moon roof, premium sound, everything but navigation. it had 13,500 miles. My grandma died on September 4, 2007 from stomach cancer one week after diagnosis. before this she drove my grandfathers 2001 mercury grand marquis, but her driveway was too steep, and she had top get a new car. he died on November 24, 2003 from lung cancer. while he had the grand marquis, she drove a beautiful 1994 mercury cougar, awesome car that still runs, my cousins drive it. i am currently 15.5 years old, so i can't drive it till i am 16.5, but my mom and dad will drive it occationally until i can drive when it will be all mine. the car is so beautiful, i used to wash it for her all the time. she would be happy to know that her car fanatic grandson is driving her nicest car ever. i'll post pics when i get the car, it is at my aunts right now because her car was in the shop.i look foward to being a part of this board. i can't wait until i have a question for yall.

Please accept our condolences. We are sorry to hear about your Grandma.
She must have been a very generous person to leave you her car. Make sure to keep it around for a long time. You are already ahead others for your age, you don't have to drive an old and maybe ugly car, no, you have a fairly new one.
