Default Slymer, i have a qeustion.... and to anyone else that may know...

i want to debadge my car (take off the mercury sign and the grand marquis sign) and i know some cars have the labels put on the car by adhesive and some cars have pins in them so i was wondering if mine had pins in the labels (by the way i have a 1993 mgm) and i hope maybe yall can help me out..

no clue. never even though about it. I'm pretty sure it's adhesive with 2 alignment holes per segment (connected letters) with the sub-model (LX, GS, etc) with only 1 alignment hole. I could be mistaken though. The only real way to know is peel it off. You WILL have to sand the area and re-paint it though.

me and my friend did his colorado and it came off fine with out scratching the paint and he didnt have to paint his.... id like to do it but i dont want to have to deal with all the complications..

to find out for sure, you might check junk yards to see if any have the decals removed.

yeh... what i might do is jus go to a junk yard and take a screw driver and pry it off to see if they do.... that way i dont mess my car up...

It is adhesive for the body badges and pins for the vinyl roof badges.
