my room mate is a service manager at a wal-mart store. he informed me of a store located 5 miles from me that will probably be hiring. he said that 2 tire techs were fired, 1 received a determination day and a mangaer in tire lube area fired. well, myself being a past wal-mart employee and stepping down to let room mate take position as service manager where he works, i have all the knowledge needed to work at the store needing help. i also know the support manager of the tire lube area at store where i applied. bought a truck from the guy a few years back. he knows that i have background in automotive, and i am just waiting for the call for a job interview. i know it seems far at being 50 miles, but remember i live in middle of no place and 40 miles from closest walmart.

 

I don't think 50 miles are bad. You come to my area (unemployment is close to 20%), people would drive twice as far just to have a job.
