how do I change the washer fluid pump

 

I am just taking a guess but i think it is in the fluid resevior. Follow theelectrical wires to the resevoir and their it is. I changed my on an older mercury, It was struck close and it didn''t work. Once ipulled it out i knew that i was in trouble. Ithoughi needed a new. So, what i did before i spent money on a new one is spray some wd-40. I connected back and it worked. I quess i got lucky that day.So, try what i did first before buying a new one. Also, i put some silicone to seal it once install.It only had one clip,so don''t forgetthe silicone, or else thefluid will leakout.Good luck and i hope this works.
