96 Sable, 87k miles, recent power steering pump replacement.


When I drive it during the week to work, I get no overnight fluid leakage. When it is parked over the weekend, I get some drips after a day. Over filled? Leak coming from under carriage mid between wheels close to transmission cover. Could this be trans fluid?

Could one of the hoses be leaking and running fluid away from the leak? How is the trans fluid level? How much is it leaking? Let me know. Later.

 

I need to check the fluid levels, yes. It was a 2" diameter spot.

 

Power steering fluid usually leaks when the car is running and the pump and rack are pressurized. Just keep an eye on fluid levels and will get your answer if you can''t find the source of the leak. Good luck.
