hey guys i need some advice. my engine light came on and i got my car diagnosed and it said that the bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 o2 sensors were malfunctioning. i bought two more to replace them. problem is i replaced the wrong two sensors. when i discovered i had done so i took the two that i replaced before and replaced the actual malfunctioning sensors with those from the first time. i figured they were still good. i just got done replacing them so all 4 of my sensors should be good but i turned my car on and my service light is still on i was wondering if any one knows if there is a difference between o2 sensors on the car or if it will work thanks.

the exhaust temps are not hot enough yet for a reading if you just turned it on and then off. is this what you mean? If so then you will have to drive it for a few and possibly reset the computer for this since it is a emission sensor. these are sometimes made to stay on unless reset. reset the computer and they should be fine if they do not turn off when you drive it.

sorry for the second reply. as far as being different sensors....I would say that they are all the same. you should be fine.

if someone knows feel free to jump in here and let him know about the sensors. as long as the connection is the same the sensor is the same. this is usually the rule of thumb
