Default Radio and Clock Stopped Working '95 Sable

I was driving yesterday and smelt the odor of a fuse when it burns out. I noticed my clock and radio no longer worked (as well as power door locks & roof light). I checked the fuse box found the fuse (which was bad) and replaced it.
Turned on the ignition and nothing happened. I looked at every fuse to see if another had gone bad, but found nothing.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Could it be the "Fuse-able Link" from the alternator that they speak of in the manual??
Thanks!!

a fuseable link is usually not tied to one specific fuse. the fact that you smelled something probably means that a wire that goes to those devices has fried. I've never smelled anything when a fuse blows (hear it sometimes, but never smelled it). I have however smelled wires fry. not a pretty picture. since the new fuse hasn't popped and stuff still doesn't work, I'd check the wires (if you can get to them) and see of there's something that shorted and broke.

you might also check the fuse box under the hood to see if there's any accessory main fuses that need to be replaced.
