Where does this GND attach
After replacing an upstream O2 sensor on our 2000 Sable 3.0 Vulcan I came across a loose ground cable. (See attached pic).
I can't seem to find where it's supposed to go. I can probably find a bolt to stick it on that's not a problem.
My concern is that the nut holding it also held something else. Which now also is lose or has fallen off.
So if you know and/or has a pic it'd be great.
TIA

Maybe somebody who has a sable will give you a better answer. It looks like the other end is fasten to the frame, which means the loose end should be on the engine. Unless you removed a wiring harness that has that size of stud or bolt, I'm wondering if it was left off from a previous repair. I would look for a bolt or stud on the engine, maybe an intake bolt, or a bracket bolt.
Hopefully somebody with that vintage of sable will be able to tell you exactly where it goes.
