my girlfriends son in law has a 98 mercury sable. it had a lot of work done on it recently and was running well. about 2 weeks ago it started having difficulty shifting (it is an automatic). then the windows started going up and down and the door locks lock and unlock by themselves. also when this happens the speedometer doesn't work.
