Key does not go into ignition smoothly. Have lubricated does not help. I want to remove the cylinder but can not get it to release. I have removed the plastic cover from the column. I am told with Fords you can insert the key turn it half way and push a release button through an access hole. I can not locate a release or remove the bottom plate to gain access to the cylinder. Does anyone have experiance with this. Car was built as a joint venture between Mazda and Ford called autoalliance. Edited by: jwcaylor
