I just bought a 54 and it has I believe a 1959 292 automatic, it seems it was not an easy drop in because the engine is right up against the fire wall and they welded in a bracket and the transmission mount is about 5 inches further back than it should be. I would like to move the engine forward. Has anyone put in a 292 and what mounts did they use or could recommend for me. Thanks
