my 98 sable overheats when a/c is on. turna/c off and it cools back to normal. I have tried all the conventional remedies flushed system, checked water pump etc. etc.

 

does the a/c work well, or make any strange noise when you turn it on? sounds like the compressor is holding the engine back.

 

I have not payed much attention to the ac system. It has cold air and I don't hear it pull down when it is turned on,but I have an appointment to have the car checked out with a pro nest week. I will have them check the ac system. thanks for the reply.
