92 MGM Keyless Entry??
#1
In the trunk of my 92' MGM on the passenger side behind the seat is the factory amplifier. On the Drivers side is another box of unknown origin but it looks identical to the Optioned Keyless Entry. Now i am unaware if these were just put in and not used but there is wires running to it from god knows where.
here is the module from ebay but the one in my trunk looks identical.

Well, if you use the search function, you'll be surprised what you can find.
Anyhow, I ran across the same a long time ago. Thus it is nice to have the keypad on the driver door, a true key-chain remote is much more convenient and practical, don't you think?
I have the same box, but it is only for the keypad on the door, if installed (optional). All the wires control what you can do with it, unlock one or all doors, or even the trunk.
According to the paperwork, a true key-chain remote was not available till '95.
Hope that helps.

There's a better way, easier and almost invisible.
Check out www.jcwhitney.com. They make a pre-cut wiring harness, which plugs into your factory harness (mostly from Bulldog). Then you can plug in remote door locks, trunk and even alarm and immobilizer.
The only wires you have to run is for power.
