Loud Squeak/Creeking Sound When Turning + Hitting Bumps
2001 Mercury Grand Marquis
My smooth and quiet vehicle suddenly developed some loud squeaking/grinding/creeking sounds today. Out of nowhere, the sound started when turning a sharp right into a parking space; than also when turning left; and than with less sharp turns, followed by a noticeably similar sound when hitting bumps. This all just happened within a few hour time-frame. What the junk is this? If I bounce the car a bit I can hear the sound come from the front driver side area.
Any ideas? Any quick fixes? Thanks!

Had a similar problem with my 2000 mgm. It would squeak real bad. So, I put some white silicone grease on the upper and lower control arm bushings and the noise was reduced by 50%.
I cannot say your problem is the same as mine, but the cost of 1 can might be worth the investment.
