I have an 04 GM and have added dual exhaust, K&N air filter, 5.4 litre throttle body, Trick Flow upper plenum, MSD coils, 24# injectors and underdrive pulleys. It is not much faster than it was stock. CNC heads are $1500, a programmer is(GOOD ONE) $500.00, which one will give me the biggest increase in power?

It's the same today as it always was -- speed costs MONEY !!
The question is: How fast can you afford to go !??
Ya gotta face facts, man -- that 2-ton car ain't gonna impress anybody, no matter how much time and/or money you spend.
The Grand Marquis is an old-man's car. I know this because I'm an old man.
I have spent many dollars and many weeks, days, and hours in the process of restoring/modifying the 95 MERC.
I set it up for long-distance, high-speed touring over the deserts and mountains of the American Southwest, with many trips to Mexico and Canada, as well.
In YOUR circumstance, I would suggest that you stop spending any more money on "parts" -- get the car "tuned" by a professional tuner, and LEAVE IT ALONE !! Bye-Bye !!
Howdy ho! I'm just starting to work on my 2000 Marquis. Was there anything special you had to do to fit everything to that Trick Flow plenum? I'm looking for more torque than horses, so I don't mind adding the bolt-ons that will help with that, starting with a 2009 P71 airbox and ADTR zip tube. Any advice or warnings you can give me?

Two cents is about what your stupid comment is worth.
In Panther circles, the "Tuner" that has the biggest following is Marty Ochs, with his famous "Marty-Tune". for the Panthers -- Around $ 500.
Sorry to see folks waste their money trying to make the Panthers into drag-strip demons -- or deafen the citizenry with their illegal Cat Removals and blasting exhaust sounds.
Ya can lead the kids to the answers, but ya can't make 'em think. '95 MERC at Flaming Gorge, Utah.
