Milan 2009 Many problems, need help
#1
Hello everyone this is my first post here! I have a few problems with the
Milan i just picked up. Its a 2009 I4. It has Sync technology with Sirius radio
and built in bluetooth. It also has a USB port and an AUX in. Sounds great
right? Wrong!! Nothing that i just mentioned works!!! When I select the
Sirius radio all i get is a hiss, however it does show what is currently playing.
When i navigate to Sync, it stays lit for 3 secs and then goes away. Nothing
happens when i press the PHONE button. And nothing happens when i plug
something into the AUX/USB ports. I hope there is someone out there that
has a quick fix.
Thanks

Ok, i went back to the dealer and they fixed everything for me!!
I have another question.....Is the steering wheel supposed to lock when you
turn the car off? I know on the 2006 it does. The dealer told me they dont
lock anymore.....Is this true? I always thought that was an antitheft feature.
Thanks

usually if the dealer says so, it''s probably true.
I know that if you had cranked the wheel around to angle into a spot and parked without straightening the wheels, when you turned off the car and the wheels rested (steering wheel locked and pegged on the catch) it was all but impossible to move to allow the key to turn again for old ladies and others without the strength to force the wheels back that tiny bit to release the ignition lock.

i''m having a similar problem with my brand new 09 milan... the USB port stopped working last week. when you tell sync to play USB it tells you there''s nothing connected there when there is...
it sucks cause it''s such a good feature. i had my iPhone plugged in there so i had all of my music on me... i''m gonna try to bring it to dealer tomorrow and see if they can fix it...
