Hello everyone, I''m new to the site and very excited about being a memeber.

My problem is I have a 2005 V8 Mountaineer and everytime I leave my hazards on for even 10 minutes the battery dies, but onceI jump start itthe car runs fine.

Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?

sounds like the battery needs to be replaced. it may have a couple of weak cells in it. you can get it tested at any autozone and most other parts places.

10 minutes, I am surprised it has enough juice to turn the starter.

It doesn''t have enough juice to fill a coffee cup, I normally have to jump the battery. But after that it runs fine..

That just means the alternator works fine. The Battery should be your only issue then.
