23,000 mile 94 Texas Grand Marquis
There are prolly 1000 'Grandma Car' stories on here, and I will eventually read all of 'em. At least I know this one is real, cuz I remember the day my in-laws bought this one. Long story short, I am the second owner of a fully loaded champagne colored near-perfect LS model. Grandma kept the leather seats covered with towels! And she really did drive it to church on Sunday, the grocery store Tuesday and to the beauty parlor on Thursday. Mostly it sat in under her covered carport. I have quite a few issues common to cars that sit too long, so hopefully I can get a few things corrected with all of the other members help. My goodness this thing runs sweet! Now to search the forums for window regulator install instructions, etc. Nothing bad...right?
Wow!,
A real-deal Grandma-mobile! It MUST be in mint condition!- minus the dry-rot rubber stuff. and in Champagne color too! Now that's just classy!!
Post some pics in your album. I need some inspiration. I've got to get my '97 Grand Marquis GS to pass emissions. Post the progress in pics here so I can follow and learn from your projects. Good luck with your ride!
