Cool G'day eh!

Looking at buying a 1962 Mercury Monterey, so I thought I'd drop in here and see what's happening.

Posting from Alberta, Canada.

Default '62 Mercury Monterey

Hello, Caleb, and welcome to the Mercury Forums !!
There ain't much going on here -- the site has been hijacked by Middle-Eastern pimps -- can't get rid of them. ;>(
'62 Montery, eh !?? -- I wish I had one !!
For correct information's sake -- where are you ?? Your City and Country help decide lubricant/coolant issues.
What do you plan to do to the Montie, if anything ??
Are you an Auto Enthusiast ?? Do you have Mechanical skills ?? Tools?? Work space ??
I ain't being a nosey hoser -- just wanna understand your circumstances, and your car's, too.
Me ?? -- I'm a geezer -- Helped my Dad replace the shock absorber bushings on our '39 ****** Coupe.
There was WW2 going on, and Dad had to make the shock bushings out of cut-up inner tubes, 'cause rubber was rationed.
But that was THEN -- NOW, I drive the 95 MERC, a restored and modified 1995 Grand Marquis.
About the Montie -- Got any pixtures ?? Which engine ?? How many miles on the counter ??
If ya really dig those old Mercurys, check out the "Sights & Sounds" tab -- A film about the great endurance race that was put on by Mercury,
and the whole deal lasted for over a MONTH !!
Anyways, I hope to see ya back here to tell (and show?) about your Mercury.

A Nice, Well-Rounded Rear End
