Welcome. A word of warning: the newer the car, the harder it will be to find bolt on customizations for it unless it's something like a mustang, camero, F150, or other very popular vehicle. I'm pretty sure that most things that will fit on the 2010 escape should fit on your mariner as well (except body stuff around the nose of course since the front end designs are different - like headlights, hoods, grills, and bumpers).

Make sure to check that any of your new add-ons don't void your warranty. Slymer is right, you probably won't find much aftermarket stuff for the Mariner. There is a company called Weathertech which I see each month in my Car and Driver mag that I know makes some stuff for you, i.e.; hood deflector/protector, tinted window rain shrouds, tubular side steps, and some others. Then you can always put some rims and tires and tint it (I tint everything I own), aftermarket lighting, etc. Then if $ is not an issue, custom shops can do just about anything you want these days (body kits, drop it or lift it, etc). Send some pics & keep us updated. Welcome to the forum.
