Hey everyone,

I have a 2008 Sable with perfect engine and transmission, they are both in perfect condition. I am probably going to let go of this car because both rear springs are broken and I can't find anyone who is willing to do this job. Car also has rear dog-leg rust and rear fender rust. If anyone in the Rockford, Illinois area is interested in an engine or transmission please let me know. Right now it is in driveable condition. It also has new tires and 6 disc CD player. I've owned the car since new, and am sad that I have to let go of it. If I had a hoist and an oxy-acetyline outfit I would repair it myself. I did a spring on a '08 Taurus in my driveway once, but never again - they are a bear.

Can't believe there isn't a shop to do the work. If you sell, you won't get much for something needing work and you will pay $$$$ for anything used right now. New car inventory is low and dealers are not budging much on price. You will pay more in sales tax on another car than to fix what you have.If you were nearby, I'd give you fifty bucks for it.
