My headlights are slightly fogged up after a car wash and was wondering
if I can just take them off the car, heat them up and open them to dry,
and re-seal them again? I've done it in my other car but I heard that
some headlights can't be opened up due to the kind of adhesive that's
sealing them up.

If this can be done, what are the steps involved?

Huge Sable defect on some years. I thought I was one of the lucky ones, until I had the drivers side headlamp fixture replaced with a new one. How wrong I was. I should have either had them either replace the other side, too, or just gotten one from a bone yard. I'm not sure what year your car is, (I'm guessing '96 to '99) but taking some of the Sable years' fixtures apart would allow for cleaning. I just would find some way to fix the original problem. And if you have small black angled rubber hoses on top of each light make sure they are pointed down.
