How do I protect the heating system?
I have heard that the cooling system on the 1999 Sable can be a problem. In some cases the water pump gets so bad it stops moving water.
From what I've heard the first symption are lack of heat - followed by the motor overheating. When the heating problem first starts folks usually flush the system and change the thermostat. It works for awhile but then the heat stops again and untimately the water pump goes bad.
What can be done to stop this from happening?
