Just bought a 95. I already have two Nissans, a Sentra and a Maxima, so
of course the Villager's Nissan drive train was an attraction. What a
pity that Mercury insisted on detuning it from the 160HP Nissan
equivalent. The obvious solution is to add a turbo, resulting in a
Villager with the power of a Maxima.
This van is quite pretty, it has the electronic dash, moonroof, leather
seats, etc., and the only thing that's broken seems to be the electric
door closer.
