hello fellow mercury owners. i just registered to this site. i am replacing the intake manifold on my 89 grand marquis. everything is going pretty smoothy right now except for one problem. the car is parked at my fathers shop and i believe that one of his genius employees walked off with my intake plenum with the intent of selling it at the local scrap yard. i called around to every junkyard in the area and no one has one. i need to get this thing back on the road. if you are not familiar with this part it is the large aluminum piece that sits on top of the manifold and it says "ford" on it. i believe it is called the intake plenum. anyways, if someone has an extra one they would be able to part with it would be most appreciated. i live in north jersey and obviously i would pay shipping. if anyone can help a new member i would be forever in your debt. just reply to this post. thanks!!

i got 2 standard plenums out in my garage. would you want it painted a specific color? i can do that for ya... i am in nebraska so i will have to get an estimate for shipping and plenums here sell for $25 at junkyard. i am guessing $10 shipping... lemme know. i also have a few friends i have met at a Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, Town Car meet in PA. i can see if they can help ya out also.Edited by: 87_Crown_Vic
