if you want an easy way for power, find a 1997 lower mileage Mountaineer or Explorer 5.0they have petter pistons, and are a HO engine. ou will need to transfer over your accessories and brackets so that stuff connects properly since they have a different accessory set up. you can find a Explorer/Mountaineer 5.0 for around $400 or so. if you plan on keeping original engine and boring it out, get a better set of heads and exhaust. the intake you can get from ebay for around $30 for a setup like what i have.

I found someone today that has a (think) 96 mustang cobra that has pretty much anything that bolts to that motor. He just recently sent his off to be fully rebuilt and is not using any of the previous parts. Will these parts fit the 5.0 that i have?
