I know its been discontinued....but what replaces this? here is the link to the thread im referring to https://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/...Number=3580697

someone mentioned 9W73-9D289-CA but im not sure. anyone here can help? ive tried a search for the threads here for info but no luck.

I know that this probably isn't much help, but I would try going down to a local wrecking yards and looking at other types of Fords (Mustangs, SUVs, and pickups) equipped with the 4.6L. and see if anything off of one of those might be compatible. If you're lucky, maybe you can test fit it on another Grand Marquis in the wrecking yard. Hopefully you will find something that will fit, and maybe use the make and model of the donor vehicle as a basis for ordering replacement tube in the future. If not, maybe you can temporarily patch it up with aluminum tape until a better solution comes along.
