Default Convertible motor question

I have 65 Monterey convertible with following issue. The top started malfunctioning, not going up/down all the way. I filled the reservoir with transmission fluid, it took quite a bit and the top seemed to work fine. Car sits for few weeks, go out yesterday, top only goes down 2/3 of the way, I push on it then it goes down, same with going up. So I thought ok maybe it needs more fluid, filled it up again, tried the top and I could actually see fluid burst from back/ underside of top motor. Top will work but the fluid pours out the bottom. Forgot to add, after I initially filled it up I could see air bubbles in lines. Is this just a blown gasket that is easily replaced? Does motor need rebuilt? If so is it easy to do? Would I need it professionally rebuilt or does it need to be replaced? If professionally rebuilt, who does them?
