Hazard light on 95 Mercury Grand Marquis
Hello everyone,
I have a 95 Mercury Grand Marquis that has been sitting for about 10 - 15 years.
I need to get it brake and light certified.
Brakes are done but I have an odd issue with the lights.
I get all turn signal, driving lights, and brake lights working.
When I put the hazards on, the right front will not blink. It works fine for the turn signal, just not the hazard.
I have not replaced the flasher relay yet, not sure that would be the issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Never had that problem with the 95 MERC, even after changing all the bulbs to LEDs.
I have the wiring diagrams for all models of 95 Grand Marquis and Town Cars, but can't find any description of your problem, or a solution.
Replace the Flasher, and see if it fixes the problem. If not, you MAY have to replace the Emergency Flasher SWITCH.
Keep us posted.

Solution
I replaced some dash lights, like the turn signals, and the problem was solved. A day later it came back...
I took it all apart and noticed if I wiggled the hazard button, it would start working. I took the turn signal assembly apart and found a LOT of corrosion in the contacts. A lot of cleaning and reassymbly later, it now seems to be working good. The corrosion on the contacts prevented just the right front from coming on.
I never would have thought....
