My name is Audrey and I live in Boise, Idaho where it's been about 25 degrees on average this time of year. I just bought my first Mercury, a 83' Zephyr automatic. It's uglier than frozen dog-mess and has 530,000+ miles according to the dial, yet somehow runs properly. I know that it's a senior citizen in the car community-- but how long should i be warming it up? and how often? I usually just warm cars up in the morning, but this one seems to want to be warmed up after sitting for over an hour in the cold. It's tranny is definitely used and has some issues with first gear, yet it rides a lot better warmed up then not. Thanks for the input, I'm glad to have joined the forum!

Your decision is really about looks when it comes between the Fusion & Milan, because they are virtually the same other than that. The Milan is built on the same frame, to correct a previous answer.
