jacking front end up questions

jacking front end up questions
This is the only car I evey had with front wheel drive I need to change the front springs and shocks where is a good place to jack it up and place jack stands to work on these parts. Its a 2000 Sable,Sorry about the stuipd question.
PS does it have a cross member and pix would be vry helpfull

Not a stupid question!!! Look for a steel crossmember ( not the radiator support) there should be a frame under the front that will support the jack!! Then place jack stands under the car ( at the frame or pinch welds) to hold the car while you work.
Do one side at a time and e SAFE!!! I mark the bolts on the struct tower to get the alignment close and then have car aligned...Good Luck!
