I used Centric brand hoses, but here is a better choice:
RAYBESTOS Brake Hoses -
Right Front --BH382468
Left Front - - BH382469
Right Rear -- BH382482
Left Rear -- BH382483
Available@ RockAuto.com -- about $20 each

Transmission Shift Kit --
I installed a B&M kit, but now there is a better-engineered product:
TRANSGO -- TRG-AODE-HD2 -- fits '91-'08 AODE/4R70W
Available @SUMMITRacing.com -- about $90 + S&H.

I hope you like those FlowMasters -- they're VERY popular, but too expensive, too bulky, too heavy, and too noisy for my usage.

Forgot to ask -- do you do your own wrenching ??
I'm not a professional auto mechanic, but have extensive experience with many types of mechanical equipment.
I do everything that I have the tools for, which is just about everything on the 95 MERC.
Got the Factory Shop Manuals (2) for the 95 MERC. (Used, Amazon.com, $42)
No hydraulic lift, so I work on my back -- on the concrete carport floor.
Kinda primitive, but that's OK -- many refer to me as "Cave Man", anyways ;>)
I did most of my own wrenching when I was racing and customizing my Corvetts.... but now live in a condo type facility and wrenching on cars is prohibited.
Thanks for the information on the brake lines.... I needed that info since new rotors and pads are coming in shipment form mainland shortly.
Tires and new 18 inch custom wheels are arriving today.....
What does the B&M shift kit do ????????
I will purchase it if it's better than the stock set up.
The Flowmasters sound awesome..... too awesome. My gas mileage is dropping now since my foot keeps slamming the pedal to the metal metal because the sound is Mucho Macho.... if you know what I mean.

Those stock brake lines have fittings swaged onto the ends -- You MAY be able to un-swage the old fittings from the old hoses and have them re-swaged onto
the braided hoses, but I wouldn't do it -- too likely to fail.
The B&M Shift Improver Kit -- Involves removing the Valve Body and changing some small parts.
Not difficult, but must work carefully, and AVOID DIRT !!
2 Stages --
RV/Heavy Duty -- Produces solid, noticeably-firm shifts when compared to stock -- Runs cooler -- Prevents slippage.
Street/Strip -- Sharper, crisper, more aggressive shifts than the Stage 1

The TRANSGO Kit is way different than mine -- looks to be a better-engineered product.
